From St. Louis to Boston
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Massachusetts 14 years ago. Boston's architecture, history, and ever-changing landscape drew me in, and they still shape how I look at every property.
My career began in finance, which taught me to look beneath the surface of a deal. When I moved into real estate about a decade ago, I brought the habit along. I ask what a property will cost to prepare, what condition the building is in, and what ownership will ask of its owner over time.
Today my practice centers on sellers and investors, including new construction and thoughtful renovations. First-time buyers hold a special place too, since guiding someone through a first purchase is some of the most rewarding work I do.
My Approach
Four habits guide every transaction.
01
A comparative market analysis anchors each pricing and offer conversation, so decisions rest on evidence.
02
Age, condition, and the cost of repairs or preparation come into focus before a property reaches the market.
03
Whether to renovate, repair, or list as is depends on your timeline and your return, and we decide together.
04
Paperwork, negotiations, and delayed closings all need a steady hand, and I will stay beside you until the keys change hands.
Before Any Decision
01
Taxes, fees, insurance, and upkeep sit beside the price, and together they show the real number.
02
Age, major systems, and building history shape both repair costs and resale value.
03
Renovation potential, neighborhood change, and market timing all play a part, and each deserves a straight look before you commit.
The Process
01
We talk through your goals, your timeline, and the property or search you have in mind.
02
Sellers get a comparative market analysis and an early walk-through to flag repairs and preparation costs. Buyers get a shortlist matched to their must-haves and budget.
03
Price, renovation choices, and timing come together in one strategy before anything goes live or any offer goes in.
04
The numbers guide every offer and counteroffer.
05
I handle paperwork, coordinate lenders, attorneys, and contractors, and stay close when closings shift.
Who I Help
Pricing + preparation
Pricing, preparation, and timing shape most outcomes. I walk through your home early, point out what needs attention, and help you decide which repairs earn their cost. See what I have helped sell in recently sold listings.
By the numbers
I evaluate multifamily and renovation opportunities by the numbers, from purchase price to preparation costs and the responsibilities of ownership.
Plain-language guidance
First-time buyers get plain-language guidance on must-have lists, paperwork, and negotiation, and experienced buyers get a second set of financial eyes. My how to buy page walks through the process.
Where I Work
I serve buyers, sellers, and investors across the Boston area, including Boston, Somerville, Brookline, Quincy, Malden, and Roslindale. Each community has its own rhythm, from Brookline's historic districts and village centers to Somerville's squares and multifamily housing. Brookline buyers weigh condo fees, parking, and local historic districts, while Somerville buyers look at squares, T access, and two- and three-family homes. Personal
I am passionate about architecture and history, and I enjoy learning how a building's past shapes its present value. A property with a story makes my work more interesting, and I like helping clients understand what theirs is worth. In a region as layered as Boston, no two properties read the same way, and the curiosity keeps my work fresh.
